Location: Corona, CA



Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM



Pay Rate: Up to $40/hour

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing organization in Corona. This role is responsible for managing accounting functions across multiple companies, ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end close activities, and providing critical financial analysis to leadership. The ideal candidate possesses strong GAAP knowledge, excellent Excel skills, and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting functions for TP Group and its subsidiaries.
• Oversee treasury activities, including payroll and cash management.
• Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations, loan schedules, and fixed asset schedules.
• Participate in month-end close, KPI reporting, budgeting, and cash flow analysis.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Process journal entries and perform account reconciliations for monthly and annual close.
• Prepare and review monthly and annual accounting review files.
• Establish monthly inventory valuations according to company procedures.
• Conduct aging inventory analysis and work with operations teams to address inventory concerns.
• Collaborate with Sales and site managers to review aged receivables and inventory.
• Provide management and sales teams with accurate financial and operational reporting.
• Review transactions and maintain accounting records for international affiliates.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for external auditors.
• Ensure accuracy of fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Maintain General Ledger accounts and support overall accounting operations.
• Serve as backup support for other accounting department functions as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with accounting software.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial close processes.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Experience within the Folding Carton, Printing, or Packaging industry is a plus.
