Electrical EngineerHours: Monday through Friday. 1st Shift.Our client-driven solutions are provided under the direction of an experienced team of project managers who can guide a project from the initial stages of planning through design, construction, and occupancy. Specialized services include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, technology, process, and green-building design. We have an immediate opening for an Electrical Engineer in the Electrical Department in our York, PA office.Responsibilities include:Serve as lead electrical engineer on multiple project teams and work with electrical designers to successfully complete projects.Determine scope of work and assist with coordination efforts with clients, consultants, and other team members.Prepare studies, reports, and produce complete electrical construction documents.Design building interior and exterior lighting systems, power and emergency power distribution systems.Design building fire alarm, security and paging systems, and building telephone, data, and TV cabling systems.Meet, communicate, and coordinate project requirements with owners, architects, designers, and contractors.Prepare specifications in AIA MasterSpec format.Prepare electrical construction estimates and review shop drawings.Monitor electrical construction progress, conduct field inspections, and prepare reports.Mentor junior staff.Education & Experience Requirements:BSEE or Architectural Engineering degree with 5–20 years of progressive, technical experience in a consulting engineering firm.Excellent communication skills; experience in preparing electrical construction documents, client management, project supervision, and knowledge of building codes, NEC, and NFPA.Professional Engineer (PE) license required.Understanding of REVIT and AutoCAD required.LEED AP a plus.Call today to schedule a phone interview: View phone number on click.appcast.io Email your resume: View email address on click.appcast.io Apply online: Visit us: 2210 East Market Street, York, PA 17402Express can help you find the type of job that is a perfect fit for your needs and abilities, and you'll never pay a fee for our services and support.
