Key Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (MR) certification or eligibility required
• Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment and related imaging technology
• Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and regulatory compliance
• Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with patients and care teams
• Ability to follow physician instructions precisely and adapt to varying patient needs
• BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images as requested by physicians
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures, screening for contraindications, and ensuring comfort and safety
• Position patients accurately and select appropriate imaging techniques for high-quality results
• Maintain detailed patient records and manage imaging files in accordance with policy and privacy standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to verify images and support accurate diagnosis
• Clean and maintain equipment following procedures and infection control guidelines
• Monitor supply inventory and report equipment malfunctions as needed
