Senior Legal Specialist

Responsibilities providing legal support for provider contract negotiations in multiple states Draft contract templates and amendments Responsible for filing of provider contract templates with state regulators Serves as a seasoned resource and may lead and/or coach other support staff Prepares and evaluates legal documentation Conducts legal research and analysis Performs fact checking, gathering documents, and researching inquiries Monitors state and federal legislation affecting the corporation Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Paralegal Certification or an AA/AS/BA/BS in a related field minimum of 10 years of legal or related experience Provider Contracting experience preferred Experience in managed care or healthcare industry preferred A law degree is desirable but not required Hard Skills contract negotiation contract drafting legal research legal documentation preparation fact checking document gathering provider contracting Soft Skills leadership coaching analytical skills Certifications & Qualifications Paralegal Certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
