Nurse Anesthetist

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a well-established outpatient surgical practice specializing in advanced eye care . This is a full-time, onsite opportunity in Columbia, South Carolina .

PERKS

Competitive compensation of $230,000–$250,000 annually , depending on experience. Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with no evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities. RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments, obtain informed consent, and develop individualized anesthesia care plans. Administer and manage anesthesia for outpatient surgical procedures, including monitored anesthesia care (MAC), sedation, and regional anesthesia techniques. Continuously monitor patient status, airway management, and physiological responses while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety. Provide postoperative evaluations, complete accurate EMR documentation, and communicate effectively with recovery and surgical teams. Collaborate closely with physicians and perioperative staff to promote efficient surgical flow and an exceptional patient experience. Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, safety standards, and professional anesthesia practice guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current South Carolina APRN licensure and active NBCRNA certification. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience providing anesthesia services in an ambulatory surgery center or similar outpatient surgical environment is preferred. Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered approach. Proficiency with electronic medical records and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality anesthesia care.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position offers an annual salary of $230,000–$250,000 , depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
