Family Law Paralegal

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Family Law Paralegal to join our growing legal team. In this role, you will support attorneys in handling a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and domestic violence cases. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and is comfortable working directly with clients during sensitive and emotional situations. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, affidavits, and discovery Manage case files and maintain accurate, up-to-date records Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing case summaries Coordinate court filings (e-filing) and track deadlines Conduct legal research related to family law matters Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings Collect and analyze financial documents for equitable distribution, support, and custody cases Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in family law Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience required Strong knowledge of family law procedures and court rules Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with e-filing systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Experience with case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase) #J-18808-Ljbffr
