Client Service Associate

Position Summary:The Client Service Associate role focuses on supporting clients and advisors by executing routine administrative tasks and handling client requests. Responsibilities include assisting with account openings, processing paperwork, scheduling client meetings, and preparing basic reports. The Associate ensures CRM data accuracy and helps with client follow-up and meeting preparations. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing friendly and professional client service. The role also involves department tasks including but not limited to helping to improve internal processes under supervision.Primary ResponsibilitiesFrequent custodian interaction & paperwork processing.Process account openings, funding, deposit electronic checks, money movements, process tasks with Custodians (primarily Fidelity)Assist with ongoing client data management including tax, investment and other relevant information.Basic preparation and follow-up for client meetings.Prepare client forms and financial reports in advance of client meetings.Attend meetings to take notes and send a summary to both the client and the advisory team.Develop knowledge of investment accounts, products and the forms required to transact business.Assist with internal coordination across departments to ensure tasks/ follow up are completed in a timely manner.Responsible for cash transfers, wires, data maintenance, reporting and trading as needed.Ongoing maintenance and quality control of CRM (Salesforce).Receive client calls and resolve questions/issues as needed.Learn how to trade client accounts (e.g. buy and sell securities)Client specific report needs (tax documents, quarterly investment reports, etc.)Regular interaction with third parties and high net worth clientsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree0-5+ years of experienceSkills & Competencies:Demonstrate strong and effective communication, organizational and time management skills.Drive to learnDetail orientedAbility to work in a team based/collaborative environment.Must accept and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.Adherence to all compliance policies & procedures.Demonstrate the Cerity Partners culture.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Compensation Range:$65,000 - $75,000Why Cerity Partners :Our people drive our success by working together to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
