Our busy and growing dental practice located at 6350 S. Durango Dr., Las Vegas, NV 89113 is seeking a skilled, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our team. Our practice is located within a multidisciplinary medical center, allowing our dental team to work closely with other healthcare providers to support comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, operatories, and treatment rooms in accordance with infection control standards
• Take and document dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Review and update patient medical histories and records
• Educate patients regarding oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-operative instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely patient charting and clinical documentation
• Ensure patient comfort and provide exceptional customer service throughout treatment
• Support efficient patient flow while maintaining quality patient care
• Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, front office staff, and other departments within the medical center to support coordinated care
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and organizational policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification required
• Dental assisting experience- 2 years min. preferred
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
