OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Tuscaloosa, AL by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operate nationwide dry van freight from Tuscaloosa, AL as a solo OTR CDL-A driver for HMD Trucking, running predictable routes and delivering on time. You’ll manage trip planning, secure cargo, complete electronic logs and inspections, and coordinate with dispatch to keep loads moving safely.

Key responsibilities:

• Safely operate company-provided late-model tractors (under 3 years) equipped with sleepers, APUs and inverters.
• Perform pre/post-trip and routine inspections, comply with DOT and company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate trip records and pursue safety and mileage bonuses while averaging about 2,500 miles weekly.
