Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Environmental Services (EVS) Associate to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe hospital environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role is essential in supporting infection prevention and overall facility cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Follow strict infection control and sanitation procedures
- Safely handle and dispose of regular and biohazard waste
- Restock supplies such as linens, soap, and paper products
- Respond to urgent cleaning needs (spills, discharges, isolation rooms)
- May work in various areas throughout the hospital as assigned
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to follow safety and infection control procedures
- Previous cleaning or healthcare housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
- Hospital setting with exposure to cleaning chemicals and biohazard materials (PPE provided)
- Fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and teamwork
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
