What You'll Be Working On

• Performing comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
• Diagnosing and managing ocular diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
• Co-managing pre- and post-operative care for cataract, LASIK, and other surgical patients.
• Prescribing and fitting glasses and contact lenses.
• Educating patients on eye health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
• Collaborating with ophthalmologists, opticians, and support staff to deliver seamless patient care.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Optometrist in Illinois .
• Experience level: Open to early-career and experienced clinicians.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-based clinical environment.
