What You'll Be Working On- Performing comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Diagnosing and managing ocular diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
- Co-managing pre- and post-operative care for cataract, LASIK, and other surgical patients.
- Prescribing and fitting glasses and contact lenses.
- Educating patients on eye health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Collaborating with ophthalmologists, opticians, and support staff to deliver seamless patient care.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Optometrist in Illinois .
- Experience level: Open to early-career and experienced clinicians.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-based clinical environment.
