Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Evening and weekend call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care across a multi-suite OR environment handling approximately 10 cases per day
• Support a variety of surgical cases including robotic procedures, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repair, appendectomies, basic orthopedic, gynecologic, podiatric, and GI endoscopy cases
• Collaborate with OR technicians and first assistants assigned to each case to ensure safe and efficient surgical workflow
• Participate in weeknight call coverage (3:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and weekend call coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) with a 30-minute response time requirement
• Participate in holiday call rotation as required
• Complete unit-specific orientation checkoff and work alongside staff until clinical competency is established

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kansas
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of one year of Operating Room nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Must reside within 60 miles of the facility and possess a valid driver's license
• Must be available and present in-state for the full week of orientation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• GI endoscopy nursing experience
• Familiarity with a fast-paced, multi-specialty OR environment
