Who We Are

The Children's Guild is a nonprofit organization and affiliate of TranZed Alliance - one of the most experienced child-serving organizations in the Greater Baltimore/Washington region. Our OMHC provides evidence-based, trauma-informed outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, and families across multiple locations in Maryland and Washington, D.C.

Our interdisciplinary team includes therapists, clinicians, psychiatrists, case managers, and school-based professionals - all united by a shared commitment to helping every child thrive.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a new or early-career clinician to grow their skills in a supportive, mission-driven environment. As a Therapist/Clinician , you will:

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents with diverse mental health needs
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy) under clinical supervision
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with COMAR, HIPAA, and agency standards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, case managers, and school staff
• Engage families as active partners in the therapeutic process
• Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development

What We're Looking For

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required)

Graduate licensure in Maryland or D.C. (LMSW, LGPC, or equivalent); candidates awaiting licensure encouraged to apply

Genuine passion for working with children, adolescents, and families

Basic knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
