Position: CDL Onboarding
Description: Shift/Schedule: Thursday and Friday 7AM-Noon PART TIME/TEMPORARY POSITION!! PAID WEEKLY EVERY THURSDAY!
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and motivated driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans.
Responsibilities:
- Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, ensuring safe transportation of goods.
- Load and unload products using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Assist with heavy lifting as needed, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
