In this role you will be the Sample Style Expert. Your keen attention to detail will allow you to guide others when samples are being used cross-functionally.ResponsibilitiesSAMPLESOrganize and manage all samples across multiple seasons, up to 8 seasons at one time (men's, women's, accessories)Maintain samples in merchandise roomFacilitate samples being borrowed between departments and outside sales representatives/ check- out, check-in system.Coordinate dates to ensure samples are available for key meetings and shoots in advance of meeting dateCommunicate to cross-functional teams the differences between SMS and production via change logCoordinate with technical design team to borrow proto or fit samples accordingly.STYLE OUT – IN-LINE AND SPECIAL PROJECTSProvide samples in delivery order for styleoutProvide ETA and status of late SMSMake callouts of spec / color updates from SMS to production.Prevent using styles that photo team will not be able to retouchAssist in creating outfits for lookbook – men's, women's and accessoriesTake notes as necessary and issue recapsOrganize samples dailyEnsure style number, descriptions, color, and fit are accurate in the bookLOOK BOOK SHOOTAssist in organizing/packing samples in shot list order for photoshoot as necessaryAssist on site at photoshoot/Travel Required to make callouts on outfits and SMSReorganize samples daily depending on shotlist for the dayEnsure models are dressed properly in a timely manner and are ready for shotCreate shotlist book (CAD work required)Study the shot list and compare it to the book to ensure everything lines upBUSINESS ALIGNMENT/ MERCH/BUY AND SALES MEETINGSManage Sample handover from Product development to MerchandisingOrder additional samples needed for efficient meetings and if/when logos change locationCreate large CADS of missing samplesAssist during presentation by hanging, disassembling samples and note takingCAD work Responsibilities:Create CAD pages for multiple teams/teammates at a fast pace, and often under tight timelinesCAD pages consist of, but not limited to: Category pages per season, Photo shoot look booksCreate Alo Exclusive CADsManage Adds and Drops on existing CADS as they occurManage Seasonal bindersCreate visual seasonal tools to help guide cross-functional teamsQualificationsEffective time managementExcellent attention to detailOrganizing and operational skillsTeam playerProcess driven and ability to create processCommunicate effectivelyAbility to manage own timeIllustrator CAD work requiredExcelThe base salary for this position is $70,304 per year which represents the current base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company's total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
