$35–$50/hr + Bonus Potential
We’re partnering with a growing industrial services organization to hire an Electrical Estimator to support complex construction and equipment installation projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong electrical field background who understands how work actually gets done — and can turn drawings into real-world cost, labor, and execution plans.
What you’ll do:
- Develop detailed electrical estimates (labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors)
- Review drawings, schematics, and P&IDs to build accurate takeoffs
- Perform site visits and walkthroughs to validate scope and conditions
- Work closely with construction managers, engineers, and field electricians
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on pricing and materials
- Support project planning, scheduling, and cost tracking
- Ensure estimates reflect real-world installation methods and field constraints
- Apply NEC, NFPA 70, and OSHA standards in all estimates
- Identify cost savings and improve estimating accuracy over time
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of electrical construction or field experience
- 3+ years of electrical estimating experience
- Strong knowledge of power distribution and control/instrumentation wiring
- Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs
- Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, and OSHA standards
- Experience with estimating tools and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Nice to have:
- Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Background in industrial environments (manufacturing, energy, chemical, pharma)
