Direct Care Coordinator
The Arc of Bristol County provides innovative services and programs that empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their best lives. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field of study
- 3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities (preferred)
- 1 year of experience working as a HBTS/PASS/ABA Treatment Coordinator (preferred)
- 1 year of experience working as an HBTS/PASS/ABA Direct Support Professional
- Experience in advocacy for individuals with disabilities
- Safe driving record, current driver's license, and motor vehicle insurance
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home support to families on caseload
- Implement interventions and utilize de-escalation strategies as directed by the Clinical Supervisor(s) and treatment plan
- Document data from in-home supports and submit by required deadline
- Track and calculate client data for preparation of the treatment plan
- Supervise assigned direct support staff including training, scheduling, discipline, and performance reviews
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness in the review of time taken (sick, vacation, etc.) and submission of supervised timesheets on a weekly/bi-weekly basis
- Recruit and train staff in accordance with agency and state policies and procedures. In collaboration with the Program Coordinator(s) and Clinical Supervisor(s), provide staff training, mentoring, performance evaluation and disciplinary action as appropriate to specific services (HBTS/PASS/ABA)
- Meet with staff regarding individual plan(s) of service. Conduct monthly home visits with each family on caseload
- Oversee case files and review case plans and progress reports for quality assurance
- Oversee submission deadlines
- Provide quality assurance/oversight to the delivery of coordination services for individuals in HBTS, ABA and PASS programs.
- Protect the rights and dignities of individuals with developmental and other disabilities
- Commit to organizational quality initiatives by participating in programs that will enhance treatment services, improve team processes, which includes but is not limited to regular attendance at staff meetings
