Production Worker (Concrete)We are looking for a PRODUCTION WORKER to join our INDIANAPOLIS, IN plant. As a general laborer with Rinker Materials, you will contribute to one of the nation's largest manufacturers of reinforced concrete pipe, box, bridge, and other related infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications.You will work become part of a community that prioritizes not only our customers but also values our dedicated and loyal employeesWhy apply?Competitive payMedical and prescription drug coverageDental and vision coverageHealth savings and flexible spending account401(k) with company matchLife insurance and disability coveragePaid vacationPaid holidaysGrowth & Development opportunitiesEmployee DiscountsMental Health through our Employee Assistance ProgramWellness benefits including low-cost gym membershipsAbout the Role:Responsibilities:Mixing and pouring concrete.Transfer loads to construction sites and discharge safelyOperate cranes and hoistsInspect equipment and machineryCoordinate with ground operators and interpret hand and verbal signalsOperating machinery and equipment, such as concrete mixers and conveyors.Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.Assisting with the transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds.Loading and unloading materials and supplies.Keep and update maintenance and activity logSets up forms in the manufacturing production process of concrete products.Handling and moving heavy construction materials.Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear.Adhering to quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality concrete products.Any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by management at any given time and in any given areaAbout You:We Require:Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.Working experience handling different types of cranesPrevious experience as a crane operator or a similar roleAbility to work outdoors or in open air environment.Preferred – Experience working in a manufacturing environment.Preferred – Experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift.Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently. Over 50 pounds, a forklift or crane will be used. Must be able to push or pull cart with 80 pounds of force. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
