We're partnering with a leading commercial glazing contractor seeking a talented Estimator to join their growing preconstruction team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile commercial projects across healthcare, higher education, corporate, mixed-use, and institutional sectors while collaborating with engineering, operations, project management, and field installation teams. What You'll Be Doing Review architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents Perform quantity takeoffs for: Curtain Wall Systems Storefront Systems Windows & Entrances Prepare conceptual, budgetary, negotiated, and hard-bid estimates Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing Analyze project risks, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities Coordinate with engineering, operations, and project management teams throughout the preconstruction process Support design‑assist and negotiated project pursuits Prepare bid packages, proposals, and supporting documentation What We’re Looking For 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial glazing, curtain wall, storefront, façade, or building envelope construction Strong understanding of commercial construction documents, drawings, and specifications Experience with quantity takeoffs, pricing, and bid development Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and driven to produce accurate, competitive estimates Preferred Experience within: Storefront Systems Windows & Entrances Higher Education Facilities Commercial Office Buildings Mixed‑Use Developments Design‑Assist Projects Software Experience Preferred On‑Screen Takeoff (OST) Microsoft Excel Procore AutoCAD Revit BIM Coordination Software What’s In It For You?
