About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its philanthropic efforts in support of the performing arts and arts education. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to advance the Foundation's mission. This includes modernizing fundraising systems, diversifying revenue streams, and building strong community partnerships. The Executive Director will also serve as the primary spokesperson, representing the Foundation in various public and private settings, and will work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure the organization's long-term sustainability and growth. Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a background in nonprofit, arts, educational, or mission-driven leadership, with a minimum of 5-7 years' experience. The role requires a proven track record in fundraising, including major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and grant management. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, the ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive culture, and experience in financial oversight and planning. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and knowledge of the performing arts and arts education, as well as familiarity with donor database/CRM systems, is a plus. The Executive Director will be expected to work closely with the Board, staff, and community partners to achieve the Foundation's goals and expand its impact.
