Job Description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to manufacturing trailers for military and commercial applications. As a welder, you will play a crucial role in fitting parts to print and executing MIG welding using specified weld symbols. You will ensure quality by performing checks with tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures, and by using grinders or sanders to perfect welds. Upholding high-quality standards for the Department of Defense is essential. Certification will be provided upon hiring.

Responsibilities

• Fit parts to print specifications using MIG welding.
• Utilize weld symbols on drawings to complete welding tasks.
• Perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
• Use grinders or sanders to refine welds.
• Ensure all welds pass inspection by quality inspectors.
• Maintain quality standards for the Department of Defense.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of MIG welding experience on mild steel.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and weld symbols.

Work Environment

Located in a friendly small-town setting, the workplace features two buildings: an older, somewhat louder facility for steel welding and a newer, cleaner shop for assembly and TIG/aluminum welding. Work hours for the 1st and 2nd shift are 5:45am-3:45pm and 3:45 PM to 1:45 AM, Monday through Thursday, with the opportunity to train on the first shift for at least a week. The culture is welcoming, with many employees having farming backgrounds, creating a unique, close-knit work environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Clintonville, WI.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Clintonville,WI.
