Work Environment

This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art facility situated in Newark, NJ. We offer a concierge medicine approach, meaning you will frequently engage in house calls, providing personalized care in the comfort of our patients' homes. The work schedule typically runs Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required for evening or weekend patient consultations when necessary. Working alongside a collaborative team, you’ll benefit from shared knowledge and continuous professional support.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including the review of medical histories and physical examinations, followed by necessary diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and treat patients with diverse cardiovascular issues, such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular disorders.
• Perform and interpret various cardiac tests, including echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations, to monitor and diagnose conditions accurately.
• Develop individualized treatment strategies, prescribe medications, and advocate for lifestyle modifications to effectively manage patients’ cardiac health.
• Execute interventional procedures like angioplasty and stenting, ensuring the highest level of care and precision.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams to craft comprehensive care plans, ensuring all aspects of a patient's health are considered and addressed.
• Educate patients about cardiovascular health, disease prevention, and effective management strategies to promote long-term health outcomes.
• Participate in clinical trials and ongoing research initiatives, contributing to advancements in cardiology.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using our electronic health record (EHR) software, ensuring compliance and high-quality patient care.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in cardiology through continuous education and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Valid medical license to practice cardiology in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time Cardiologist position ranges from $500,000 to $600,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
