As a Metal Roof Panel Fabricator, your primary responsibility is to fabricate metal roof panels according to project specifications and requirements. Your role is essential in producing high quality panels that meet structural, aesthetic, and functional standards for various construction projects.

Duties and responsibilities:

· Review project details to understand panel dimensions and requirements.

· Selecting appropriate materials, such as metal sheets, coils, or panels, based on project needs.

· Cutting metal coils to the required size using a metal roofing panel machine.

· Drive trailer safely to jobsite with metal coils and panel machine.

· Conduct quality checks on fabricated panels to verify dimensions, angles, and surface finish.

· Identify and address any defects or imperfections in fabricated panels.

· Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail through the fabrication process.

· Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery and handling materials.

· Maintain records of materials used and production output.

· Report any issues, delays, or deviations from project specifications to supervisors or project managers.

· Assist Project Manager to run roofing materials to job sites and dump roofing material debris as needed.

· Assist with various tasks around the shop when not fabricating metal panels.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in metal fabrication, sheet metal work, or a related field preferred.

· Proficiency in operating metal fabrication machinery and tools.

· Understanding of metalworking techniques.

· Highly proficient in hauling trailers, hooking, and unhooking, and backing up.

· Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.

· Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

· Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

· Professional working proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
