We are hiring a Financial Analyst / Accountant to support analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and general accounting. This role is a strong fit for an accounting professional who wants to build both analytical and accounting expertise.

You will work with Finance and Accounting to keep reporting accurate and turn financial data into analyses that help management understand performance. The work sits at the intersection of the monthly close, financial analysis, and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and quarterly analyses, including actual-to-budget and actual-to-prior-year comparisons, and investigate significant variances.
• Analyze revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and profitability by company, business unit, product, and customer.
• Prepare monthly management reporting packages, financial dashboards, and ad hoc analyses from large data sets.
• Support the monthly close, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and general ledger analysis.
• Maintain supporting documentation and assist with year-end audit schedules and external auditor requests.
• Support ERP data quality and help improve accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls.
• Build and maintain advanced Excel workbooks for analysis, modeling, and management reporting. Power Query, Power Pivot, or Power BI experience is a plus.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and fundamental accounting concepts.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS/IFS, INDEX/MATCH, and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills with large financial data sets.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with accounting and non-accounting audiences.
• 1–2 years of accounting, financial analysis, or related experience preferred.
• Manufacturing, distribution, or multi-entity experience and ERP skills (Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred) are a plus.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $52,000 - $68,000 annually
• Actual compensation will be based on experience and job-related skills.
