Job Title

RN - Med/Surg/Tele - Neuro

Location

Des Moines, IA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Every other weekend and every other holiday required | 6-Month Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry and Neurology unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Neurology nursing
• Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a telemetry or neuro-specific unit
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• ACLS certification
