Position Overview

This position offers a night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a commitment of three shifts per week. Registered Nurses (RNs) with licenses from any state are welcome to apply, as an Arizona state license is not required. Limited housing options are available, including shared housing units at $600 per month, based on availability. Please note that no families or pets are allowed in housing.

Located in Tuba City, AZ, this healthcare facility serves a diverse community encompassing the Navajo and Hopi Reservations within a 4,400 square mile area. Established in 1975, the center has a bed capacity of 73 and offers a variety of services including:

Inpatient and outpatient emergency services
Dental and ophthalmology services
Orthopedics and OB/GYN care
Oral and eye surgeries
Urological procedures

Position Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse will execute a variety of patient care procedures necessitating professional nursing knowledge and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities include:

Providing nursing care to individuals across all age groups and their families.
Following physician's orders and adhering to standards of care, nursing policies, and hospital protocols.

Qualifications

Applicants must maintain current certifications, including:

Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within one year of hire
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within one year of hire
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within one year of hire
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within six months of hire
Emergency Severity Index Level 5 training within three months of hire
Patient Sitter Competency Training upon hire

Orientation and Additional Information

Orientation sessions are conducted every two weeks. Exemptions for COVID-19 and flu vaccinations may be accepted upon submission of a declination form. A housing application must be submitted two weeks prior to the start date.
