Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Operating Room (OR) procedures is needed in Mesquite, Texas. Candidates will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a surgical setting, assisting with orthopedic (including total knees, hips, shoulders, and ankles), podiatry, gynecology, and general/laparoscopic procedures. The role requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The position involves rotating shifts and offers full-time hours.

Job Details:

• Location: Mesquite, Texas
• Schedule: Days/Mid 06/22/2026, 0630 to 1500 or 0800 to 1700, with a rotating schedule.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, minimum 2 years' experience in orthopedic, podiatry, gynecology, or general/laparoscopic procedures, and experience with EPIC electronic charting system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a circulating nurse; scrub experience is a bonus.
• Additional Information: Candidates should have circulating experience; scrub skills are a plus.
• On-Call: Yes per unit needs. Candidates are expected to take rotating call 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month.
• Covid Patients: Yes
• Scrubs: Any color; the hospital also provides them.
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
