Registered Dietitian

The LECOM Institute for Successful Living is accepting applications for a Registered Dietitian to work in one or more of our skilled nursing facilities. *This position is a Full Time, on site, and is located in Marienville, PA.* *Qualified candidates with limited experience and/or recent graduates are encouraged to apply, as training is provided.* *Position Summary* The Registered Dietitian is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating nutritional care for residents in accordance with federal and state regulations, facility policies, and professional standards. This role works closely with nursing, medical staff, and food service to ensure optimal nutrition and overall resident well-being. *Key Responsibilities* * Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans * Monitor residents nutritional status and modify care plans as needed * Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and facility regulations related to nutrition services * Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, speech therapy, and food service personnel * Participate in care plan meetings, resident rounds, and quality assurance activities * Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff as appropriate * Review menus and oversee therapeutic diet compliance * Maintain accurate, timely documentation in residents medical records *Qualifications* * Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required * Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania * Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred * Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, geriatric nutrition, and regulatory requirements * Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills *Benefits*: LECOMs full time employees enjoy the availability of an industry leading benefits package including: * Highmark BC/BS Medical Insurance with employee-only coverage costing only $100/month! * Full Family Medical Insurance is only $370/month! * Employees with LECOM Medical Insurance can take advantage of waived co-pays and deductibles at LECOM physicians and Millcreek Community Hospital. * 403(b) Retirement Plan with Employer Matching of 100% after completing one year of service * Life Insurance and AD&D Insurance is provided to all Full Time employees at no cost! * Paid vacation and sick time * 6 Paid holidays each calendar year * Referral program * Employee appreciation and recognition events * Up to $200/month towards childcare The LECOM Institute for Successful Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
