Med Ninjas is seeking a Retinal Ophthalmologist for Long term locum tenens coverage at an outpatient clinic located in Lawton, OK.
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from ASAP to ongoing/as needed.
This assignment includes outpatient clinic, retinal consultation and treatment, intravitreal injections and laser treatments, and flexible scheduling with no on-call/weekend requirement specified.

Locum Ophthalmology Physician Lawton, Oklahoma

Shift: Flexible, scheduled during facility hours, Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing/as needed
Position Details: Retinal consultation and treatment; minimum commitment of 4 hours per month, extending up to 16 hours as needed
Patient Population: All Ages
Setting: Outpatient Clinic
Responsibilities:

• Provide retinal consultation and treatment, including intravitreal injections and laser treatments
• Perform diagnostic and treatment services, ensuring follow-up care aligned with treatment plans
• Coordinate care with optometrists within the service unit
• Conduct a Retinal Consultation and Treatment Clinic monthly
• Provide comprehensive ophthalmology services
• Participate in quality assurance activities and risk management reviews

Required Procedures: Intravitreal injections, laser treatments, minor procedures, retinal consultation and treatment
EMR System: EHR system
Support Staff: Optometrists within the service unit
Days Per Month: Minimum of 4 hours per month, with availability for up to 16 hours
On-Call/Weekends: Not specified; scheduled during facility hours, Monday Friday
