Join Our Team as a Master Plumber - Multifamily Pay: $75- $100/hr We welcome both licensed Master Plumbers and experienced Journeyman Plumbers who are eligible to sit for the Michigan Master Plumber exam. Flatzliving is seeking a skilled individual to lead our in-house plumbing crew, ensuring top-notch service for our properties in Lansing and Kalamazoo. Daily Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a two-person plumbing team, assigning daily work and ensuring jobs are completed safely, correctly, and on schedule. Perform and oversee various plumbing tasks such as water heater replacements, sewer pipe replacements, and drain tile work. Diagnose plumbing issues, recommend repair-versus-replace decisions, and ensure all work meets Michigan plumbing code. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job. Coordinate with property managers and maintenance technicians to minimize resident disruption. Required Skills: Active State of Michigan Master Plumber license or Journeymen with required hours to take Michigan Master Plumber Exam. Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role. Strong working knowledge of residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work in crawlspaces and mechanical rooms, and respond to after-hours emergencies.
