Enterprise Account Executive

Zaddy Solutions

Founding Senior Sales Account Executive, AI Governance

Location: New York City, hybrid

Schedule: Minimum two days per week in the Manhattan office

Compensation: $300,000 to $350,000 OTE

Employment Type: Full-time

Zaddy Solutions is recruiting the first dedicated enterprise salesperson for an emerging AI governance platform. The product was recently acquired by an established, profitable global software company, which means you get something rare: the ownership and visibility of an early-stage startup, backed by the stability, resources and customer reach of a successful international organization. There is real market momentum, a deeply technical founding team and executive commitment to aggressive growth. What does not exist yet is a finished sales playbook. That is where you come in. You will work directly with the products founder, product leadership and engineering team to build pipeline, win customers and help define how this category is sold.

What the Product Does: As businesses adopt AI agents, those agents need to connect with company systems, applications and data. That creates a serious governance problem: Who has access? What information is moving between systems? Which connections are approved? How can companies embrace AI without sacrificing security, privacy or control? This platform gives organizations visibility and governance over the connections between AI agents and their business systems. The technology sits at the intersection of AI infrastructure, Data governance, Enterprise security, Developer tools, Privacy and compliance. The category is still taking shape. You will not be selling a product everyone already knows they need. You will be helping sophisticated buyers understand why this problem matters now.

What You Will Own

Build the Pipeline

  • Identify and engage organizations actively investing in AI, particularly companies with under 1,000 employees.
  • Create relationships with AI leaders, CTOs, CISOs, IT and engineering leaders, security teams and compliance stakeholders.
  • Generate pipeline through targeted outbound outreach, executive networking, partners and strategic account development.
  • Qualify inbound interest quickly and convert curiosity into legitimate sales opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities within the parent companys existing customer base.
  • Build a repeatable prospecting motion that future sales hires can follow.

Run the Full Sales Cycle

  • Own opportunities from initial outreach through discovery, demonstration, technical evaluation, security review, negotiation and close.
  • Lead credible product demonstrations tailored to each customers AI environment and governance challenges.
  • Translate technical capabilities into clear business value for executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Navigate deals involving economic buyers, technical evaluators, security teams, procurement and compliance.
  • Work with product and engineering to validate integrations and technical compatibility during evaluations and trials.
  • Create customer solution plans that connect business goals to measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and CRM activity.
  • Current initial contract values generally fall between $30,000 and $50,000, with the potential for larger enterprise expansion as adoption grows.

Help Build the Go-to-Market Motion

  • Bring customer objections, market intelligence, competitive information and product feedback directly to leadership.
  • Help refine the ideal customer profile, positioning, messaging and sales process.
  • Create practical sales materials, including discovery frameworks, battlecards, objection responses and technical collateral.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering and Customer Success.
  • Help turn founder-led selling into a repeatable commercial motion.
  • Contribute to hiring and developing the future sales organization as the business scales.

What We Are Looking For

  • We are looking for a proven enterprise software seller who combines technical curiosity with commercial urgency.
  • At least eight years of quota-carrying B2B software sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success closing net-new enterprise business.
  • Experience selling data infrastructure, analytics, databases, AI/ML platforms, security, governance, developer tools, integrations or adjacent enterprise technology.
  • A record of personally generating pipeline, not simply managing opportunities created by an SDR or partner team.
  • Experience selling to technical and executive stakeholders.
  • The ability to explain a complicated product clearly, accurately and without hiding behind buzzwords.
  • Comfort leading technical demonstrations and navigating security or vendor-review processes.
  • Strong command of discovery, business-value selling, negotiation and multistakeholder deal management.
  • Experience operating in a startup, new product division, greenfield territory or startup within a larger company.
  • The discipline to forecast accurately and maintain a clean CRM.
  • The confidence to challenge assumptions while remaining highly collaborative.
  • The willingness to work from the Midtown Manhattan office at least two days per week.
  • You do not need to be an engineer. You do need to understand what you sell well enough to earn the trust of engineers, data leaders, security professionals and AI executives.

Experience That Would Make You Especially Interesting

  • Selling data integration, data governance, knowledge graph, database, analytics, security or AI infrastructure platforms.
  • Launching a new product, territory or commercial motion.
  • Closing business in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
  • Selling an unfamiliar category before buyers had established budgets for it.
  • Working directly with a technical founder.
  • Mentoring other sellers or helping build an early sales team.
  • Strong familiarity with agentic AI, enterprise AI governance.

This Role Probably Is Not for You If

  • You need a famous brand to open every door.
  • Most of your recent revenue has come from renewals or expansion rather than new customers.
  • You expect an SDR, sales engineer and mature enablement team to carry each stage of the process.
  • You want to manage a team immediately and no longer want to carry a personal quota.
  • You are uncomfortable selling while the positioning and playbook are still evolving.
  • You cannot explain your current product, buyer and business value in a few clear sentences.

Why Consider It?

  • Become the first dedicated seller for an emerging AI-governance platform.
  • Work directly with the founder and the executives responsible for the companys AI strategy.
  • Shape the positioning, sales process and customer strategy.
  • Sell with the financial backing of a profitable global software company.
  • Build something without accepting the financial instability of an unfunded startup.
  • Position yourself to help hire and lead the sales organization as the business grows.
  • This is an individual-contributor role today. If you establish a repeatable sales motion and deliver results, there is a legitimate opportunity to grow into commercial leadership. It is not an automatic promotion, but the runway is real.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Expected on-target earnings of $300,000 to $350,000
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Employer-supported 401(k)
  • 100% employee health-insurance coverage
  • Generous Paid time off
  • Hybrid work environment
  • Relocation support may be considered for the right candidate
  • **Final compensation will depend on experience, demonstrated sales performance, domain expertise and overall fit.
