Responsibilities Analyze specimens with precision and accuracy Call critical values and document according to policy Perform analysis in a timely manner as determined by order priority Perform and document QC according to policy Use QC to validate testing results Recognize and document malfunctions, perform appropriate repairs Education Qualifications Associate's Degree in Medical Technology, or chemical, physical, or biological science — Required Experience Qualifications Clinical training in school of Medical Laboratory Technology for the areas to be worked Skills and Abilities Ability to work closely with management to ensure processes and procedures are implemented and maintained within the work group Ability to use open communication between coworkers, physicians, hospital and clinic employee partners and healthcare leaders Physical Demand Light Physical Demand The intent of this job description is to provide a representative and indicative level of the duties and responsibilities that will be required for positions with this title and shall not be construed as a contract for employment.
