POSITION TITLE: Assistant NET Director

REPORTS TO: EMS Director

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Assistant NET Director is responsible for scheduling and certifying the transports events, completing the transports events and assisting department operations. The Assistant NET Director will strive to maintain the highest standards of care as stated by the mission statements of Union General Hospital.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned :

• Transport ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher patients as needed
• Assists in scheduling trips, employees and meeting compliance deadlines
• Ensures billable transports events are properly certified or billed to the patient
• Performs clerical/reception duties as needed for EMS and Transport
• Assists in training staff and tracking/organization of training records
• Maintain accurate records/files all areas of the department

EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Georgia Driver’s license or driver’s license of neighboring state
• Must be eligible for certification by Southeastrans
• Computer literacy required, (proficiency with Microsoft Office suite preferred)
