Student Success Supplemental Instruction Leader - BI0 104 Student Worker

Position Title: Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader Department: Office of Student Success Location: On campus, Schenectady, NY Supervisor: Lesly Clay Hours/Shift: 8-10 hours per week for the duration of fall 26 Rate of Pay: $16.00/hr Number of Positions: 2 (1 SI leader per section of BIO 104) Essential Responsibilities and Duties Attend assigned section of BIO 104 every time that the course meets (minus lab). Actively take notes and model positive student behaviors in the classroom while the Professor is teaching. Plan and facilitate two weekly 50‑minute review sessions for the duration of the term. Complete all required training prior to the start of week 2; this may entail remote training. Attend one meeting with the Director of Student Success every other week and one weekly meeting with the Professor teaching the course. Qualifications Must have completed and earned an A/A- in the course you are applying for. Must have completed three terms at Union. Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 at Union.
