Atlantic Academy, RTC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time, remote role. This position is essential in providing mental health support to the youth population we serve, enabling them to achieve personal growth and emotional well-being. Work Environment\nIn this remote position, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule within the operational hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Act as a primary liaison between clients, families, and outpatient providers to ensure coordinated care. \n
- Engage with insurance companies regarding pre-certification and utilization management, addressing any coverage-related issues to facilitate client care. \n
- Contribute to discharge planning and aftercare strategies, ensuring clients have the resources necessary for continued success beyond our programs. \n
- Provide therapeutic meal support to clients, modeling and promoting a healthy relationship with food as a vital aspect of mental health. \n
- Deliver empathetic and affirming care, adapting to the unique circumstances and identities of each client. \n
Your role will primarily focus on serving youth facing various mental health challenges, including emotional disturbances, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will employ evidence-based therapeutic approaches that are sensitive to the intersecting identities of our clients, ensuring that their experiences and cultural backgrounds are respected and factored into their treatment plans.

- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required. \n
- A valid LCSW license in the state of Texas is mandatory. \n
- Demonstrated experience working with youth populations and an understanding of their unique mental health needs. \n
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with a focus on developing personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings. \n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with clients, families, and other professionals. \n
- The ability to work independently while also functionally contributing to a team-oriented environment is crucial. \n

- Previous experience in a residential treatment setting or similar mental health context is preferred. \n
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual care methodologies to provide counseling and support remotely. \n
