Senior Hardware Systems Engineer

Salary: $217,000 - 326,000 per year Requirements:

• We have deep architectural expertise in high-density x86 enterprise server systems, rack-scale power delivery topologies, dynamic thermal management, high-performance storage protocols such as NVMe-oF and CXL, and multi-node rack designs.
• We bring extensive hands-on experience with complex system bring-up, high-speed signal integrity validation for PCIe Gen 5/6 and similar buses, and advanced hardware failure analysis using lab instruments and telemetry tools such as BMC, Redfish, IPMI, PCIe analyzers, and SMART logs.
• We have a strong track record of building scalable, programmatic validation pipelines in Python or Shell and using rigorous stress-testing methods to qualify enterprise L10/L11 infrastructure.
• We understand rack-level integration and debugging across servers, high-speed switches, active optics, and fabric topologies; familiarity with leaf-spine networks, RoCE, RDMA, InfiniBand, and BGP is highly desirable.
• We have proven technical leadership experience, including translating business priorities into engineering roadmaps, mentoring senior engineers, and influencing vendor CTO and engineering organizations.

• We define and own the long-range hardware roadmap for enterprise storage platforms, making architectural trade-offs across compute, memory, DPUs, fabrics, and media technologies to improve storage density, performance per watt, and TCO.
• We lead system-level hardware design reviews with global OEM, ODM, and JDM partners, setting technical standards, engineering requirements, and design guidance to ensure strong vendor execution.
• We design hardware quality frameworks, validation strategies, and diagnostic models across parametric, functional, electrical, and full-stack software or firmware integration, including telemetry, stress testing, and release gating.
• We act as the final escalation point for complex hardware, signal integrity, and storage-node issues, coordinating cross-functional task forces to drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• We develop and promote automated test frameworks in Python or Bash for device-level and rack-level validation, improving coverage and reducing test cycle times.
• We collaborate with executive engineering leaders, software architects, platform design teams, and network infrastructure groups to strengthen hardware, firmware, and software co-design and improve reliability, availability, and serviceability.
