Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced Registered Echo Technologists to join our cardiac imaging team in New York, NY. Candidates must have a strong background in adult cardiac ultrasound and a proven track record in diagnostic cardiac sonography.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform and document diagnostic echocardiograms on adult patients.
· Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment in accordance with clinical and safety standards.
· Collaborate with cardiologists and physicians to ensure accurate and timely image acquisition.
· Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Echo Technician or Cardiac Sonographer.
· Experience performing adult cardiac scans required.
· Current certification as either:
· Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or
· Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
· BLS certification preferred.
· Completion of an accredited ultrasound training program, including military training, is required.
