This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and contribute to impactful projects that help government clients modernize their Human Capital Management (HCM) and payroll systems. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in management consulting, a passion for solving complex business challenges, and the ability to lead teams and drive results.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with public sector clients to design and implement solutions that improve business processes and address organizational challengesLead and mentor business analyst teams in conducting detailed process analysis and system assessmentsAnalyze business operations and develop actionable recommendations for improvementFacilitate stakeholder meetings, interviews, and workshops to gather business and technical requirementsSupport clients with analytical research to align policies, procedures, and business needs with configured functionalityApply Agile methodology to write user stories, plan and monitor development and deployment progress, and demonstrate delivered functionalitySupport testing and reconciliation from the functional / business process perspectiveDeliver high-quality written reports, process documentation, and engaging client presentationsWork closely with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budgetSupport proposal development, client relationship management, and business development effortsBasic QualificationsUndergraduate degree and 5 to 8 years of professional experience in management consultingCurrent certification in one or more of the following: CBAP, CSM, PMI-PBA, or PMPIn-depth knowledge of HR/Payroll processesPrior experience implementing payroll or HCM software, including system configuration and testingPrior experience using ALM software (JIRA, DevOps, ELM)Experience performing work in a structured Agile or Scrum environmentDemonstrated ability to lead and coach within a matrixed environmentStrong experience working with public sector clientsStrong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and quantitative skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)Self-motivated, flexible, and capable of working both independently and collaborativelyA consistent record of delivering high-quality work under tight deadlinesPreferred QualificationsExperience working on large projects (100k+ employees, multi-year implementations)Experience working with enterprise-level government systems and public sector project lifecyclesWe appreciate talent from all over the United States and are willing to consider candidates who may not be located near a Crowe office location for this role/opening!We expect the candidate to uphold Crowe's values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship.
