Industrial Maintenance Technician II

Engineering Technician II Responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of production equipment and supporting a safe, efficient operation. Key Responsibilities Perform assigned preventative maintenance tasks. Perform scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery. Respond to and correct equipment stoppage or mechanical breakdown; troubleshoot and repair or replace worn or defective parts, motors, and control devices. Operate machine‑shop equipment, hand tools, and power hand tools, and fabricate required parts when necessary. Maintain cleanliness of work area. Practice and comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and work rules. Perform other duties deemed integral to the job by management, such as fulfilling work schedules and adhering to attendance policies. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency. At least 9–12 months of vocational or technical certification courses. Equivalent military training, other related technical training, or two or more years of college education may substitute for vocational training. Proficiency in SAP for data input, retrieval, and reporting. Ability to obtain required licenses for boilers, refrigeration, and related equipment. Strong electrical and mechanical skills. Flexibility to rotate job assignments across engineering and production. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for self and teammates. Demonstrated competency impacting product safety, legality, and/or quality. Preferred Qualifications One or more years of experience as a technician or formal training. Experience in HVAC, welding, electronics, electrical repairs, industrial equipment installations, alignment, and startup repairs.
