IT Desktop Support Technician

TEKsystems is looking for multiple qualified candidates to support a client’s IT Desktop Support team. This contract‑to‑hire role is a great entry point into a local enterprise IT environment, offering the opportunity to grow skills and advance within a company. Job Type & Location Contract to Hire – Full‑onsite in Marshall, MI. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including Windows and Mac operating systems and a range of applications. Swap and deploy laptops/desktops, install and configure Windows 10/11, and re‑image machines from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Assist users with IT incidents as called upon, carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes and escalating as necessary. Record, update, and document all requests using the IT service desk system. Install and configure new IT equipment, including printers, copiers, and scanners. Maintain a first‑class level of customer service, ensuring all customers are treated efficiently and appropriately. Requirements Previous Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or PC Technician experience preferred. IT certifications, such as CompTIA, desirable. Ability to work first‑shift hours. Strong problem‑solving skills and proficiency with Windows and Mac environments. Excellent communication and customer‑service skills. Benefits & Pay Pay range: $20.00–$25.00 /hour, negotiable based on experience.
