Job Description As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the first line of support for the businesses and users who rely on BayPointe Technology every day. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and building a rewarding career in information technology. In this role, you'll work directly with end users to resolve technical issues, answer questions, and ensure a positive support experience. From password resets and workstation troubleshooting to Microsoft 365 support and basic network connectivity issues, you'll play an important role in keeping our clients productive and supported. Location & Schedule Onsite in Medina, OH Competitive compensation based on experience Responsibilities End User Support Provide responsive and professional technical support to end users via phone, email, remote access, and ticketing systems. Diagnose and resolve common IT issues while delivering excellent customer service throughout every interaction. Workstation & Device Support Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain: Windows desktop and laptop systems Printers and peripheral devices Mobile devices and tablets Basic hardware components and accessories Microsoft 365 Support Assist users with Microsoft technologies including: Outlook and Exchange Online Microsoft Teams OneDrive SharePoint Microsoft 365 applications Support account administration activities such as password resets, account setup, licensing assignments, and user onboarding. Ticket Management & Documentation Accurately document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within the ticketing system. Ensure tickets are properly prioritized, updated, and escalated when necessary. Basic Network & Connectivity Troubleshooting Assist with diagnosing common networking issues including: Internet connectivity problems VPN access issues Printer connectivity Workstation network communication Escalate more complex infrastructure issues to senior technical staff. User Onboarding & Offboarding Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including: New user setup Account creation and termination Access permissions Equipment preparation and inventory management Work closely with senior technicians, engineers, and project teams to expand your technical knowledge and contribute to successful client outcomes. Requirements Must currently live within daily commutable distance to Medina, OH 44256 1+ years of IT support, help desk, customer service, or related technical experience preferred Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and desktop troubleshooting Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and services Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Desire to learn new technologies and grow within the IT field Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Occasional local travel What Makes This A Great Opportunity?
