Studio Coordinator - NoHo

Role Summary As a Studio Coordinator (SC) you support the world‑class CorePower Yoga studio experience by coordinating operations, maintaining health and safety standards, and assisting the Studio Manager in achieving membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment. The role is designed to provide on‑the‑job learning of studio operations and to develop key studio management skills. Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience Act as an ambassador of CorePower Yoga values and consistently inspire these values in others. Support Studio Manager in achieving company and studio‑level goals. Maintain a flexible schedule of 18‑29 hours per week for studio operations coordination and teaching (if certified). Act as the point of contact for students and staff when Studio Manager is absent, up to 20 hours per week. Maintain studio supply inventory, including cleanliness inventory, locker room amenities, towels, and programming materials. Greet students by name, serve as an ambassador of yoga both inside and outside of the studio, and foster community at the front desk. Assist teachers with POS and other pre/post‑class duties. Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety, and Cleanliness Protocol Ensure the studio space meets CorePower standards for cleanliness, functionality, safety, heat, humidity, music, and clutter‑free surroundings. Communicate Smart Health Protocol to students upon entry and throughout their visit. Support the Studio Experience Team (SET) by cleaning the studio, stocking amenities, and ensuring the cleanliness protocol is followed. Interview SET applicants, hire SET employees, schedule shifts, train new members, and handle discipline or termination for policy violations. Lead orientation for new SET members and train them on cleanliness protocol and role expectations. Coordinate Studio Systems Act as liaison between Studio Manager and teaching/SET teams regarding operational systems. Navigate the POS to sign students in, sell packages and memberships, and resolve account issues at the front desk. Support online reservation system follow‑up for late cancel fees, waitlists, and student support. Assist with Subbing Application, HRIS, and Help Desk ticket submission. Teaching Schedule Teach a minimum of six CorePower Yoga classes per week. Substitute additional classes as needed. Skills & Experience Excellent oral communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills. Experience in customer service. Preferred: Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200‑hour program and Yoga Sculpt teacher training. Familiarity with studio systems such as HRIS, intranet, POS, scheduling, and payroll. Ability to build relationships with diverse personalities and team members. Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can prioritize under multiple deadlines. Proactive self‑starter with initiative and strong time‑management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). College degree (BA/BS) preferred. The Fine Print Availability must align with business needs: morning, evening, weekend, and some holiday shifts. Must be able to move, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25lbs. Certified teachers must be able to step in on short notice.
