What You'll Do
- Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to support patient recovery
- Support patients with rehabilitative, skilled treatments for physical functioning disorders under PT supervision
- Administer procedures such as manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, ambulation, and use of assistive devices
- Assess patient progress and communicate treatment outcomes to supervising therapists
- Document patient care accurately in electronic records, maintaining compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with the healthcare team on patient care plans and discharge summaries
- Support and supervise students as required
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and conferences
What You Need
Required:- Active Texas State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Basic skills in rehabilitative procedures and documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in long-term care facilities
- Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach
