Description We are seeking a part-time, remote Google Workspace Migration Specialist to lead and execute migrations from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace. In this role, you will own migration projects end-to-end—from planning and data discovery through execution, troubleshooting, and post-migration support. You will work directly with clients to understand their environments, design migration strategies, and ensure a smooth transition of mail, calendar, contacts, and file data. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving complex challenges, and delivering high-quality outcomes in client-facing environments. Why You Should Apply Work from home & flexible working hours that allow you to manage your schedule while collaborating with a distributed team Work on high-impact migration projects with a variety of clients and direct exposure to Google Workspace technologies Competitive compensation aligned with your experience and contributions Opportunity to deepen expertise in cloud migrations and modern collaboration tools A lean, collaborative environment where your work directly influences client success Ongoing opportunities for professional growth and certification development Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT, cloud engineering, or systems administration Proven experience performing migrations from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace (mail, calendar, contacts, and file data) Strong experience with migration tools such as Google Workspace Migrate, BitTitan MigrationWiz, or CloudM Working knowledge of identity and access systems including Azure Active Directory and Google Cloud Identity Experience migrating Exchange Online mailboxes, SharePoint/OneDrive data, and Teams environments Strong understanding of email systems (SMTP, routing, DNS records including MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell and/or Python preferred) Ability to troubleshoot migration issues including data integrity, permissions, and sync errors Preferred Qualifications Experience with enterprise-scale migrations (500+ users) Familiarity with coexistence strategies and phased migration approaches Experience configuring and administering Google Workspace services (Gmail, Drive, Meet, Admin Console) Knowledge of compliance, retention, and data governance considerations during migration Experience integrating or migrating third-party tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, SIS platforms) Google Workspace or cloud certifications (e.g., Associate Google Workspace Administrator) Soft Skills & Execution Strong project execution skills with the ability to manage multiple migration waves and timelines Clear communication skills for working with stakeholders, end users, and leadership Ability to document migration plans, runbooks, and post-migration support procedures Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on minimizing downtime and user disruption Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must reside in one of the following states: Missouri, Texas, Arizona, or New Jersey. #J-18808-Ljbffr
