Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)Nights, 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.Minimum Experience Required: 3 yearsCertifications/Requirements:PALSBLS/BCLSACLSJob Description:The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the patient care team, responsible for delivering both direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the emergency department. The department provides a comprehensive range of emergency care and includes a separate Chest Pain Center.Key responsibilities include:Assessing patients upon admission and throughout their stayAdministering IV medications, therapies, and blood products as neededProviding patient educationDocumenting nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responsesExperience Requirements:A minimum of 2 years of experience in the emergency departmentAt least 1 year of critical care nursing experienceAdditional Requirements:Candidates must be willing and able to perform charge nurse and preceptor roles as needed.
