Job Description

The Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting incoming inspections, utilizing computers to retrieve prints, performing dimensional work using calipers and gauges, and conducting visual inspections.

Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming inspections to ensure product quality.

• Utilize computer systems to access and interpret blueprints.

• Perform dimensional work using calipers and gauges.

• Conduct thorough visual inspections of products.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in quality control, quality assurance, and quality inspection.

• Ability to perform visual inspections effectively.

• Bilingual communication skills.

• Proficient in blueprint reading.

• Experience in first article inspection and moisture testing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong computer skills are essential.

• SAP experience is a plus.

• Blueprint reading or strong math skills are a must.

• Effective communication skills, with the ability to work independently.

Work Environment

Work in an air-conditioned facility that can be loud due to stamping machines. You will be part of a team of four people. The company emphasizes regular one-on-one reviews instead of annual reviews, and rewards contributions through effort, attitude, attendance, and learning. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Petersburg, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
