Security Officer Experienced Patrol Driver

Job Description

As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Driver in Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support personnel and property during changing conditions.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter zones, noting unusual conditions and/or potential hazards for reporting.
Monitor access points, check credentials when required, and document visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle activity according to site protocols.
Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
