Momentum Physical Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing hand therapy team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced hand therapists in a collaborative outpatient setting while helping patients regain function and return to the activities they love. Responsibilities Provide skilled occupational therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Implement individualized treatment plans for patients with hand, wrist, elbow, and upper extremity conditions. Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises, functional activities, splint care, and home exercise programs. Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Maintain timely and accurate documentation. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. Foster a positive, patient-centered experience. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program. Current Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required. Hand therapy or orthopedic outpatient experience preferred. Interest in upper extremity rehabilitation and hand therapy. Current CPR/BLS Certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
