Software Engineer, Deposits & Insights

About the RoleThe Deposit & Insights team is looking for a skilled backend engineer to join our team. You'll be leveraging deeply individualized spending insights and member spending behavior to give our members access to the best tools that enable them to spend safely. This role involves collaborating cross functionally, experimenting quickly, and iterating on solutions to find the best points of conversion.The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $133,000 and up to $184,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.In this role, you can expect toDrive technical design and architectural decisions, while mentoring engineers and fostering cross-functional collaborationLead and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, balancing ownership of key initiatives with support across broader team effortsBuild and maintain robust, low-latency APIs and backend services that power our Trust and Safety platformsBecome the domain expert in our platform architecture, providing technical decisions and solutions to refine our maturing platformsPartner with data engineers, analysts, and product managers to ship impactful features that enhance member protection and experienceImprove platform reliability and performance through thoughtful system architecture, observability practices, and automationEvolve our experimentation, policy lifecycle, and ML integration capabilities to support smarter and faster decision-making at scaleEngineers are required to participate in on-call rotation.
