ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Location: South Carolina

Schedule: Shift: 3x12 Hour Nights (7 PM - 7 AM) with a holiday rotation and every other weekend required.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care for critically ill patients. This role involves working in fast-paced environments while managing patient care with a focus on critical thinking, patient advocacy, and excellence in nursing practice. The successful candidate will float between like units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records through Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU and/or Stepdown experience.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand before starting.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
